Fried Bitter Gourd

Assalamualaikum..

My all time favourite 😀

Ingredients:

1) 6 bitter gourd
2) 2 tblsp curry powder
3) Salt
4) Oil for deep frying

Method:

1) Wash and remove both the tapering ends of the bitter gourd and cut into thin slices
2) Mix curry powder and salt with the sliced bitter gourd. Leave aside for 20 minutes
3) Heat oil in frying pan, add bitter gourd and cook in medium heat.
4) Cook until golden brown and then drain in paper towel.

p/s Remove hard seeds (if any) in the bitter gourd.

Best eaten with white rice and chicken curry.

You see, I’m a Muslim,
and Islam teaches me compassion,
to be just, to have patience,
to utter good words or be silent,

have been taken away so cruelly,
by the army that knows no mercy,

So please, if you’re reading this,
no matter what your religion is,
for the sake of humanity,
do what is within your capacity,
just end the violence already!
refuse to accept this insanity,
stop funding the Israeli army,
and use your social media wisely,
let the world know the reality,
grossly hidden by CNN and BBC,
donate in the name of charity,
and perhaps most importantly,
pray and beseech the Almighty,
-the One who created you and me,
for Palestine to finally be free..

Ayam Rempah Minyak Bijan

Bahan-bahan:

1) 1 ekor ayam kampung (kecil) dipotong kecil. Buang kulit, basuh dan toskan sehingga sejat air
2) 1/2 sudu teh serbuk halia
3) 1 sudu teh serbuk jintan manis
4) 1 sudu teh serbuk jintan putih
5) 1 1/2 sudu teh serbuk ketumbar
6) 1 1/2 sudu teh serbuk kasar cili kering
7) 1/2 sudu teh serbuk lada putih
8) 2 sudu besar minyak bijan
9) Garam secukup rasa
10) 2 1/2 sudu besar tepung beras
11) Minyak yang banyak untuk menggoreng

Cara:

1) Gaul bahan 1~9 sehingga rata.
2) Perap selama 1 jam
3) Sebelum goreng tabur tepung beras ke atas ayam dan gaul rata
4) Panaskan minyak dan goreng di atas api yang sederhana sehingga masak dan garing
